Meals :- Breakfast & Dinner.
In the morning after breakfast, check out hotel and drive back to Srinagar.
On reaching Srinagar, firstly, visit the famous Mughal Gardens:-
Nishat Bagh – “The Garden of Joy”, located on the bank of the Dal Lake, with the Zabarwan Mountains as its backdrop. The Bagh was designed and built in 1633 by Asif Khan, elder brother of Nur Jahan.
Shalimar Bagh – “The Garden of Delight”, was built by Mughal Emperor Jahangir in 1619. It is more ostentatious in architectural quality when compared with its other parallels in Kashmir. Almost all the terrace edges at the Shalimar Bagh have something interesting to offer in the form of pavilions, pools, or water cascades.
Chashma Shahi – “The Royal Spring”, was built in 1632 AD around a spring by Ali Mardan Khan, a governor of Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as per the orders of the Emperor, as a gift for his eldest son Prince Dara Shikoh.
Pari Mahal – “The Palace of Fairies”, was built for Haano and Maano and residence for Haano’s prince Maano in the mid-1600s by Dara Shikoh. Dara Shikoh was said to have lived in this area in the years 1640, 1645, and 1654. It was also used as an observatory, and for teaching astrology and astronomy.
Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
